Final Major Project for BA (Hons) at Kingston School of Art, Exploring Mental Health Challenges.

My final major project uses 3D animation to explore mental health through a three-dimensional narrative. Inspired by personal experiences and artists like Francis Bacon and James Turrell, I created abstract, immersive environments in Blender to represent emotions such as stress, anxiety, and depersonalization. Red hues, volumetric fog, and flowing particles depict stress, while shifting colors represent anxiety and dissociation.

The central character, crafted from scratched metal and glass, symbolizes fragility and resilience. As it interacts with "stress balls" and undergoes emotional release through dissolving animations and plant growth, natural elements like water and greenery guide the journey toward mindfulness and peace.

Despite technical challenges, I solved problems creatively to deliver a narrative that is both personal and universally relatable. This project highlighted my ability to blend technical skills with emotional depth, using 3D animation to provide a unique perspective on mental health struggles.
